It was 2020, and the world was shut down. We were locked down in NY, and had time to think and time to work. We sent a list of questions and prompts out to our fellow friends and family in NY and asked them to record their responses on voice notes. This was the VO and base for the rest of our Ode to NY during a time when it was most tested.
